Under IRESS Open, there will be two types of integrations: a continuation of custom integrations and making standard integrations simpler and easier.
Standard integrations will mean clients are able to allow third-party software providers to directly access and integrate with XPLAN and, over time, to more IRESS products.
A new approach where clients can integrate XPLAN simply and directly to a third-party application by using an ‘app key’ or code.
These integrations, facilitating the transfer of data with the third-party application, will rely on a client's permission and do not require product development by IRESS.
A range of these standard integrations, including financial modelling tools, risk profiling, and portfolio analytic applications, are already well advanced in the lead up to IRESS Open’s commencement in January 2019.
Custom integrations are where we work closely with third-party software providers to develop and embed functionality within the IRESS product user interface.
We have a rich history of comprehensively integrating with third-party providers such as SuiteBox for video conferencing through to large providers such as Microsoft and FujiXerox.
We will continue to partner with other providers to extend the capability available to our clients.
Standard integrations will make it simpler and easier for third-party applications to be available to clients and users through XPLAN and, over time, to more of our IRESS products. This will further open XPLAN and enable clients to determine what makes up their technology ecosystem.
